La Carrie Bag

I have to be honest with you, talking about bags, bucket bag has never been among my favourite, but when I saw her, my opinion completely changed! Breezy, cheerful, funny, adaptable, exploratory and trendy…these are the first adjectives that come to my mind when I watch at her. Yes because the Carrie Bag, as the Company writes on the web site, is destined to cosmopolitan crowd, open to explore different cultures and styles. Indeed watching at the different models I immediately get that will of research in the colors and in the use of prints. Travel is the main topic of this bag, the desire to play and carefreeness invade me and I fell already on holyday, in some Mediterranean Island, while I put into my La Carrie the smartphone, wallet, trousse and ready to run to have an appetizer at the trendy bar on the beach 😉

“The Carrie Bag borns to touch, to amuse and to interest, with a personal style, creative and never ordinary”…and watching at the Spring-Summer collection 2015 I would assert that the target has been achieved very well! La Carrie bag has obviously already joined my my wish list!!!

Devo essere sincera, in fatto di borse, il secchiello non è mai stato fra i miei preferiti, ma quando ho visto lei la mia opinione in merito è cambiata completamente! Sbarazzina, allegra, divertente, versatile, esploratrice e trendy…questi i primi aggettivi che mi vengono in mente quando la vedo. Si perchè La Carrie Bag, come scrivono sul sito istituzionale è destinata a una folla cosmopolita, aperta ad esplorare culture e stili diversi. Infatti vedendo le declinazioni nei suoi diversi modelli colgo subito quel senso di ricerca nei colori e nell’uso delle stampe. Il viaggio è il tema dominante della bag, la voglia di gioco e spensieratezza mi pervade e con la mente mi vedo già in vacanza in qualche isola del mediterraneo mentre infilo nella mia LaCarrie smarthphone, portafoglio, trousse e corro di volata a prendere l’aperitivo nel locale trendy sulla spiaggia 😉

Winter Wonder Women

Today I would like to talk about the capability of some women and a lot of successful blogger to wear light mise during the winter season. Browsing on the web, especially on some Italian and foreign successful blogger, in the winter season, often I have seen beautiful girl’s outfit with naked legs and flutter skirt, vertiginous heels rigorously without any collant (yes because the tan nude collant makes very grandma and is veery out!). Wool coat on light viscose blouse generously opened and sometimes an elegant hat or cap on, matching the choosen mood.

What can I say? Chapeau girls, all my respect to you who don’t soffer the cold weather and “dressed” so light you walk through the New York fashion week, well known as the coldest of the earth, with an average temperature of -10°C if it is warm and the snowstorm ready behind the corner. When I see some pics with these girls I often think that they use a special body lotion that acts like a thermal barrier between the skin and the world. Or I think that it is the outfit for the pic and around the corner  a friend or a fiancé is ready with the rescue equipments before the icy winter wind paralyze arms and legs. And then my thought goes to my confy winter outfit that is the typical one of a person very sensitive to the cold. But I can’t help going out without my comfy winter coat, my scarf (like a grandma 🙂 ), leather gloves and sometimes a wool hat.

But then thinking about my last trip in the Big Apple, during the winter season, I can remember a lot of girls that I have crossed in the streets and they worn light tailleurs and coats, spring décolleté and naked legs, obviously without any scarf, any gloves and any hats. So I arrived to this conclusion: probably it’s all a matter of disposition. They (like a blogger during the fashion week), are used to that weather, it doesn’t matter if snowing or blowing a storm. They maybe have that thermal barrier into the soul and not into the skin. They are Newyorkers: citizen of the City that never sleep!

Oggi vorrei parlarvi di quella capacità peculiare di alcune donne e tante blogger di successo di sfoggiare in pieno inverno, mise leggere che poco si adeguano alla stagione in corso. Girovagando per la rete e andando sui siti di famose blogger italiane e straniere, spesso, in pieno inverno mi sono imbattuta in foto di outfit di bellezze con gambe mezze nude e gonnelline svolazzanti, tacchi vertiginosi, rigorosamente senza calze (perché si, la calza color carne fa molto nonna ed è decisamente out). Cappottini in lana, adagiati su leggere camicine in viscosa, generosamente aperti e se va bene un elegante cappello o magari un berretto, in tema con il look scelto.

Che dire? Chapeau ragazze, complimenti a voi che non soffrite il freddo e così coperte vi avventurate alle fashion week Newyorkesi, note come quelle più fredde del pianeta, con una media di -10° se va bene e la bufera di neve in agguato che incombe dietro l’angolo se siete sfortunate. Spesso quando vedo alcune foto penso se per caso esiste una crema speciale che magari funge da isolante, come una sorta di barriera termica fra la pelle e il mondo esterno. Oppure penso, chissà forse quello è solo il look che si sfoggia per lo scatto del momento ma poi dietro l’angolo ci sono l’amica o il fidanzato pronti ad arrivare in soccorso con gli equipaggiamenti adeguati prima che il gelido vento invernale le paralizzi gli arti. E poi il mio pensiero va al mio abbigliamento invernale che, si lo ammetto è quello tipico di una persona particolarmente freddolosa. Ma è fuor di dubbio che senza il mio piumino confortevole, dotato rigorosamente di cappuccio e chiaramente chiuso, scalda collo modello nonna :), guanti in pelle e all’occorrenza un bel cappellino di lana la sottoscritta ha qualche difficoltà ad uscire di casa e ad affrontare il gelido freddo invernale.

Ma poi ripensando al mio ultimo viaggio nella Grande Mela mi vengono in mente un sacco di ragazze incrociate per strada che in pieno inverno indossavano leggeri tailleur e cappottini, decolletè primaverili con gambe spesso nude e ovviamente assenza totale di sciarpe, guanti, cappelli e chi più ne ha più ne metta. E allora a questo punto giungo alla conclusione che forse è tutta una questione di temperamento. Loro come le blogger che presenziano le fashion week, a quel clima ci sono abituate, non c’è vento o neve che tenga. Forse quella barriera termica ce l’hanno nell’animo e non sulla pelle, loro, Newyorkesi e cittadine della Città che non dorme mai!

Hi guys I was browsing between some fashion magazines and some of the most important blogs and I think that these are the “must have” sandals for this summer season. They have a large and comfy heels so you can go wherever you want! Isn’t it a wonderful news?! What do you think about? Have you already bought a pair of them?! Sorry for my long absence on blog but this is a particolar period for me: I’m having some therapies at hospital….so I’m doing the possibile to write a new article. I hope you could understand me :). How to wear color blocking!

What do you think about wearing color blocking? Color block is the way to dress with two very different colors, like violet and orange, black and white or red and pink. Surely some of these outfits would be too demanding for someone of us, you must have a strong personality to wear one of this outfits or the desire to try something special and to test yourself. Spring is coming now, so you can step out of usual monochrome clothes and dress some more determined colors! So have fun with your color mix!

Cosa ne pensate del vestire in color block? Parliamo di un accostamento di due colori a blocchi, come per esempio il viola e l’arancio, il bianco e il nero o il rosso e il rosa. Certo qualcuno di questi abbinamenti potrebbe essere impegnativo, bisogna avere una forte personalità o comunque voglia di osare e mettersi in gioco.
